A swanny story for summer reading

Just released! Symbol of a Nation, an anthology that includes my short story Sdani White Wings. The paperback (and a bunch of information about it) is available here. It’s also debuting today at Anthrocon, a large and famous furry convention. The digital edition will be available soon, according to the publisher.

A tiny teaser: Sdani loves her land, water and sky so much that, with a little help from the Far Land gods, this “ugly swanling” tries to stop the invading Goreek from Hell who would devour her world. Then something really cool happens to her.

Check out the anthology; there are ten other pieces, all intriguing, quirky and fun. Reviews posted on Goodreads, Amazon, here and anywhere you like are always appreciated.

I swanny that you’ll enjoy the read! (Look it up.)

Avast, Ye Sniveling Rogan Treasure Hunters!

Yeah, a strange title . . . But the teens and their animal guild friends from Seven Secrets in the Upper Attic would understand that it’s an appropriate way of announcing that The Rogan Treasures is now available on Amazon. Check out the ebook! The paperback version will be out soon.

Book 8 in The Animal Guild Series, The Rogan Treasures is the sequel to Seven Secrets and is a young-adult fantasy-action-adventure with magic, ghosts, furries and big bugs. Mika and Pepin are in search of lost treasure in the desert wilderness. They have a secret map, the mysterious and powerful Shell amulet, Percy’s gawky cousin, the incredibly obnoxious ex-girlfriend of Rocky . . . and their mutant-gene magic to help guide them. Will they find the treasure? What exactly is the treasure? And most important, will they find a certain animal that Pepin has been searching for all summer, a wonderful little dog named Corto?

The Rogan Treasures will spill directly into Book 9 of The Animal Guild Series, Sev’s Vision, currently in beta and to be published in 2018.

It never ends! And nor should it. “Holy crap!” as Mika would say, and “Keep reading, dudes!” as Pepin would add.
