Here are some reviews of Randa's Day: an Interlude in the
Animal Guild, that have been posted on Amazon, Goodreads, LibraryThing, PC
and elsewhere.
"I really enjoyed getting a look into Randa's day-to-day activities. She's often on the edges of the action, so it was nice to get something centered on her. The writing is tight and there are some really great details and sentences that just drag you into the story and really ground you. An excellent addition to the Animal Guild universe." Dec. 28, 2017

"One of my favorite authors!" Jan. 19, 2017
“I loved seeing Randa grow into her role as a leader during her ‘day.’ Sowle's sense of humor and the love shared among the guilders are what make this story shine.” Nov. 28, 2016
“Another hit in The Animal Guild Series. For fans of this
series, this is a great read and a chance to get to know one of the lesser
characters in the other books. It was like visiting an old friend you haven't
seen in a while.” Nov. 30, 2016
“I loved Randa's Day, although it made me cry! (In a good
way!) This is Randa's moment to shine and she sure does! How lovely it is to
read about a character who stayed on the sidelines throughout most of The
Animal Guild stories, and is now front and center for the first time. The story
is filled with lots of good 'feels,' and lots of family and friend moments. Which
perhaps is all the more poignant since the story is told from the point of view
of a character who may never mate and have children of her own. I loved all the
little guild management details and the subtle tells of who was in command in
what situation, but how it didn't ultimately matter because the guilders were
all working together towards the same end. A very charming addition indeed to
the expanded Animal Guild 'verse.” Nov. 21, 2016
“I found this Animal Guild short story amusing, touching,
and charming, all in equal measures. First, let me say as a long-time fan of
the entire series that I am a committed Randa-phile and especially loved this
story because here she’s the narrative focus. It was very cool to be able to
sit inside her head and see the plot unfold through her eyes. The other
guilders are, as always, well-drawn and interesting in their own right. So if
you’re a Munk fan or a Guelen fan or a Kip fan, you won’t be disappointed.”
