Remember the prophetic ferret Sev from Book 1, The Animal Guild? She envisioned Corto's strongest future, and hinted that the Far Land gods needed him to help different animals, even different species in some vague way and at some vague future time—otherwise, they would all die.
Her prophesy is the crux of this book, catapulting Corto and his friends into freaky mysteries and ruthless, savage warfare. Only the little dog can make Sev's vision a reality, but how? He'll need the support of family and friends—old and new, guilder, beetle, and human teenager. He'll need a few miracles, and he'll even need help from . . . the Enemy.
What else is going on?
Even after the events of Sev's Vision, the guilders and their allies have stories to tell, and they want me to keep on telling them (ack). This fall, look for Kiah's Day, a story about Kip's gallant son and his skunk friends (and enemies). And in the works (i.e., not written yet) are Fist's Day, followed by the next book starring Pepin, Mika and their intrepid friends—teenagers, beetles, and . . . others? Thanks as always for your encouragement and support. I hope you enjoy the read!
